I meant....Oh Shoot

Well this is an interesting post and I knew one day it would happen. Kevin warned me, but I guess I really need to watch it now!
This morning we woke up and had a great start, Jack let me change his diaper (its a full on war these days), he let me dress him cute, so for being such a good boy I made sweet potato pancakes (which he loved) and I joined him with a nice big glass of fresh squeezed grapefruit juice. As I got up with my juice I tripped and said "oh sh*t" ... and what happened next?
Well I'm sure you can guess....
It was't very clear but my son said "Oh shhh" ....uh oh! Kevin looked at me and said "see I told you so!"  So this sweet little boy is a copy cat, and I better start watching my potty mouth....

Pictures are from this morning of him looking so cute....

Mommy you said a bad word.......
and I'm telling Daddy....

And while I have you here I might as well talk about another type of potty ....Yesterday Jack started showing a little more interest in his potty. He sat down on his potty (in his diaper) and went poopy in his diaper! So this morning we moved the potty to the living room, in hopes that we can have him do this in the toilet today. As I type this he is running around the house with just a shirt on.....and so it starts!

What did you say? I get a treat if I pee in here? Hmmm I'll think about it....

Oh momma, don't worry my lil man may or may not have learned that word from me too:)

Jackson always pees in the bathtub, so about a month ago I started putting him on the potty before his bath - and last week, he started to pee in the potty! It's working out well. If he starts to look like he's going to poop, we stick him on the potty and he goes. Certainly not potty trained, but it's a good start! The little potty scares the you know what out of him, so he's going on the big potty:)

All of this post is awesome!

We have the same potty and I have to say, I think the little "mess guard" is a load of honkey. I mean, it's not really... high or large enough I'm thinking instead of it being a splash GUARD, it'll be a splash MAKER.

We're starting the potty training next week. I'm so *not* excited, but I know it's time. Liam was running around naked (diaper rash was airing out!) and he needed to go to the bathroom, so he went in the bathroom and peed on the floor. Yeah, I can take a hint.
