11 MONTHS OLD

Today our busy boy is 11 months old, that means in 1 more month he will be a year old. How is this possible!? He is into everything at this stage but he is learning by the minute! It's so incredibly fun to watch him think!!!

He is such a good baby and he lights up our face every single day!

Ok well while I think about it I might as well say Goodbye to Daddy so he can go to work!

Big Boy. Little Bear.

Guys Im 11 months old!! Ahhhh I'm a big boy!

He found a new little stuffed lamb that he just loves!

That was a busy morning, now time to relax and be sweet!

At 11 months he is:

• Sleeping from 7: 30 pm - 6: 30 am (though I don't go get him until 7 am usually b/c he plays for a little while )
• Eats 3 what I like to call "people food" meals a day. We give him something new each week. This week he tried spinach but he didn't really like it. I don't blame him :)
• He still eats baby food, but less of this as he actually likes to eat real veggies and fruits
• 3 formula bottles a day
• Drinks organic juice (halved with water)
• Transfers long distance (reaches really far) between objects
• Runs (doesn't walk) in his walker and then lets his feet drag/coast across the floor
• Chases the dogs in his walker
• Crawls and Scoots around the house to get places or finds his push toy to get him to the next spot!
• Loves wheels - he finds new things that look like wheels all the time, its cute!
• Knows how to turn the TV on/off and can even figure it out at other peoples houses too! (Cute at first but not so fun when you are trying to watch something!)
• Turns the light switches on and off when you hold him up to them and knows where they are in the house (he looks for them in each room)
• Waves when you tell people "goodbye"
• Watches Daddy leave each morning for work
• Opens books himself and I think wants us to read them to him. His favorite right now is Thomas the TrainLoves to play with the dog bowls ....and has been caught with several dog food bits in his mouth...yuck!! Poor dogs now only get to eat either outside or at night after Jack is asleep.
• Shakes his booty up and down when he gets excited
• Mimics lots of noises that we make with him
• LOVES to rough house on the bed in the pillows
• He is very tall for his age, in fact most places we go if there is a 2 year old there, he looks the same height as them!
• Giggles and melts our hearts!

Ok the list could go on and on, he is doing SO much now and is growing like a weed! We are looking forward to his 1st birthday in June and his party in July! Thank you baby boy for enriching our lives. You have taught us patience and the deepest love one could imagine. You are one sweet little cookie!
