Quack Quack, Shop Shop, Sick Sick

Kevin and I have always noticed the ducks just a few blocks from our house and we thought Jack would love to check them out. So we packed up with a loaf of bread and headed over to the quack quacks!

He was really enjoying the ducks....

.....but had a hard time sharing the bread! So funny!

After the ducks we headed over to the Galleria to do a little window shopping...
We were looking at all the neat window displays and then all of a sudden he started to make a bee line INTO the store! Oh my gosh! Toot! Thank gosh Kevin was right behind him to grab him. Ha!

We stopped for a bite to eat at La Madeline and Jack loved the tomato basil soup! Yummm!
Then we checked out all the ice skaters, Jack was very interested in what they were doing.
After that we took him over to the Tot Spot of the mall. Its this fun clubhouse area that is modeled after the Galleria. The kids are a little wild we have to follow Jack pretty close, but he loves it!

Toys-R-Us has a store right next to the clubhouse so we checked in there. Jack had a blast as you can see and pulled out all the toys! We didn't purchase a thing, Christmas is right around the corner so we just made sure to note the things he loved! :)
It was a fun day but we were under the weather and on Sunday we just stayed around the house.
Mommy and Jack have a little cold and we hope it goes away really soon! Boo to colds!

We have one of those soft playgrounds at our local mall, too! The big kids do get a little wild but now Christian is becoming one of those big kids!! Eeek!

I love the picture of Jack eating the bread! LOL! I've been saving the heels of our bread in the freezer for months, now we just need to actually take them down to the duck pond!

soooo... Jack got to go check out ducks and then go shopping... sounds like things worked out pretty well for his shopping-loving (and duck-loving) parents...
