Brisket & Sangria

We have been busy bees this weekend. Once we got back from Austin we all took a siesta and then got up to go to Uncle Joe & Aunt Stacy's house for a late lunch. They cooked up the most tender brisket and paired it with one of my favorite drinks...sangria! We did a little impromptu water fun in the back yard (hence why baby boy doesn't have swim trunks on) which Jack was "eh" about. He loves water, but I guess water that squirts in your face not so much. :)
We had a wonderful afternoon and so glad that we have family so close!

My grandmother sent these to Joe & Stacy as a wedding gift from a rose farm and they are blooming now!! I love pretties!
Jack lovvvvvvvves bubbles, but we have to teach him that sticking his little finger through the hole doesn't really work for blowing bubbles...ha ha
I think these two look alike! We love you Aunt Stacy!
Joe knows how to make a good Sangria, maybe if he is nice enough he will share on their blog!

Oh and we have BIG NEWS !! Kev and I do feel bad for not noticing....but while Joe was looking at Jack he told us that he will most likely have FOUR new teeth on the top by end of next week! WOW...FOUR?!? You can't really see it in this picture, but once he showed us we could feel them! At least we have a few doctors in the family to keep us newbie parents in the loop! Whew! Thanks Joe! I know we checked the gums a week or so ago and there was nothing there. He hasn't been drooling and though he was unusually fussy at some points in Austin... we chalked it up to just being away from home. Guess those suckers just come out fast! So those two teefers on the bottom will now have some friends!
