It's a date!

Sunday was our first official date night. Many of my married friends with kids in tow have said how important it is to make plans for a date with your spouse. So a few weeks ago while Kevin and I were eating lunch we took a stroll to the Hobby Center to purchase tickets for Mary Poppins.

The musical was a little different from the movie (I guess to be expected). All of the songs were the same but the rendition they took was a little strange at times. I think Kevin and I most remembered this roof top scene. All in all it was a good play, not the best we have seen but it was nice to get out and enjoy the evening as husband and wife. My mom came over to watch Jack, and as you can see he focused on his toys and didn't even notice that Mom and Dad slipped out. What a cute picture!

We will have to do this again! It was great to get out of the house and dress up for a wonderful night out. Love you Kev! AND Jack :)

Look at that big boy standing up in his exersaucer !! Our friends checked out that same show in Dallas a few weeks ago with their little daughters. They loved it. What a great date night :)

I love how the towels are stuffed around him in the exersaucer! Hahahaha! Yay for Mommy & Daddy alone time! I haven't seen Mary Poppins, but if you get a chance to go see Wicked, GO! It's amazing!!
