Today was a usual work day, but it always seems the week after quarter end is really slow at my office. I know that next week will be full force back to work and in the mix of it all, so I decided to take a long lunch today and plant the flowers that had been sitting in our driveway for a week. I really wanted Jack to come out and help me, but Nelvi had rocked him to sleep and he was taking a nap...which turned into a 3 hour nap over the afternoon! Tired boy!
I'm not sure who got us this lovie, I actually just found it in the closet...but its sooooooooo soft and Jack loves to sleep with it! He sucks on the ears and sooths himself to sleep. Just the sweetest thing to come in and see this! Oh yes and butt in the air to sleep of course!
I didn't have long since I did have to get back to work so I kicked off my shoes and did a speedy planting and re mulch of beds. I was surprised when under pressure how much I could get done! Maybe I just need to give myself time limits on things :)

Its nice when you already have your pots in place and you just have to replace the dead stuff. This winter freeze killed all the pretties! So I added the color back!
Not sure if this will stay through the summer, but I just love lavender!

I saw the most gorgeous lavender the other day on my way to the bank. It was dark purple with white flowers popping out of the purple. So pretty!
