Fathers Day

Today was all about Daddy! Jack and I woke up and made a sweet sign to let Dad know how much we love him...
Jack was in the back admiring all his toys ... we got new bookcases to house it all and he had not seen them until this morning.
Oh yes I love my Daddy!

We let Kev sleep in...yep he is in there somewhere :)
We then made breakfast for Daddy...toast, eggs, fresh berries...yumm!
And guess what.... I even made lunch! I just made sandwiches...but hey Dad was smiling!
Then we got in the car and went over to MiMi's & Nanies house. They surprised Kevin with a cake for Fathers Day! Soooooo sweet!
Jack was off busy pestering the cat.....

... while we all enjoyed a slice of cake!After cake we met up for dinner with Aunt Stacy and Uncle Joe
Oh and since it was all about Kevin I let him listen to the US Open on the radio...
...and we got home just in time to see the "tail end" :)
We are FULL and TIRED, but it sure was a WONDERFUL day! We love you Daddy!

Saturday Strolls

What a fun day we had today! We went over to Kevin's parents house. Grandma was out of town on her birthday so we went to hang out and enjoy some time together.

Of course we had to take a dip in the pool ...

Once we were done with swimming we came inside, our family friend Gokul came over and loved on Jack.

The boys watched the US Open while Grandma cooked dinner.

After dinner we went for a walk on the golf course... and yes that's right I said a WALK!!! Jack took some very brave steps and walked for the first time!!

What a beautiful day for a stroll ...we are amazed by everything you do sweet Jack!

Dinner for 6

When you are feelin under the weather, there is nothing like a sweet neighbor to come over and cooker dinner! Tonight our neighbors across the street came over with some AMAZING Yellow Tail fish that was caught by another neighbor of ours (its like family over here!) and we cooked up a little din din!

The kids enjoyed playing around in the den with all our toys. Ruby cheezin it up for the camera! Jack was watching how the big kids played...

...and decided he wanted in on it too!
Susan cooked up some delish spinach in our just recently redone kitchen! Its so nice to have our kitchen back!

Kevin cooked up the fish on our grill...yummmmmmo!

Perfect night minus a little sniffle!

We have been sick here sorry we haven't had many updates. Maybe this weekend we will feel better and get back to snap snap snaping those pictures!

Houston Aquarium

Today we went to the Downtown Houston Aquarium with Mimi and Nanie. Kevin and I have have talked about going but never have, so when Mimi said we should go it sounded perfect! Jack LOVED it! We went to eat lunch and check out the tanks in the dining area. When he is a little older we will take him to the feature aquariums.

We checked out the fish while we waited for our table.

Lunch was yummy, I did feel bad that I was eating fish tacos... oops sorry fish! Mimi and KevAfter lunch it was back to the fish tanks, they were filled with the most beautiful fish!

and some of those fish were HUGE! Check out this one... Whoa!!

We tried to follow the rules, but it doesn't count when you cant read them yet...right?

Oh and did you think we could get out of here without stop by the gift shop? Of course not!

Mimi & Nanie let Jack pick out whatever he wanted..spoiled! On our way out Daddy let out a little shake... the music was playing and when you have such a fun day sometimes you just gotta let out a little dance!
