How sweet is Renee!!?! We had to leave a little early from the birthday so that we could get Jack down for his afternoon nap. We left without picking up our favor bag, so Renee came over to our house tonight to drop off Jack's treats!

Birthday fun!

Today we went to our friend Dante's 1st birthday at The Houston Dance Factory. Our friends Eddy & Renee own it and primarily focus on salsa dancing. He is known in Houston as Salsa Eddy! Renee had the dance studio decorated really cute and even had a play area set up for the kids, brilliant! Kevin's best bud Jason (Renee's brother) went to HS together and then went to Vanderbilt together. He lives in NYC now with Rizzia and we love when we get to see them! What a great afternoon with friends and some sweet little boys!

Rodeo

March is Rodeo time in Texas y'all!

It's when you pull out your Wranglers

and your bling (ok yes this is Mommy's bling!)

and head on down to Rodeo Houston for one heck of a time!

This morning Jack put on his Wranglers and showed off that cute lil' butt!

What does my shirt say? Rope for Candy!?! OF COURSE I WILL!!

Wait ...Wait...Wait.. What kind of candy are we talking about? I only rope for the good stuff!

Thanks Aunt Bonnie and Uncle Dennis for outfitting him for the rodeo season!

After our morning fun we packed up the family to check out the petting zoo at the rodeo, we knew Jack would like it, we just didn't know how MUCH he would like it! He was so excited to see all of the animals and couldn't wait to get his hands on them! I'm sorry that we probably would have to call it a "pulling zoo" ..since Jack pulled hair instead of petting it, but I'm certain these animals are used to it!

Oh check out these big ears! Perfect for me to tug on! Poor goat!

Wait!?! Goat where are you going? Don't you like the ear massage that I am giving you?!?Come on Mom, stop it with the pictures, Ive got goats to pet!and Llamas hair to pull!

After the petting zoo and walking around to see the animals we played on the tractors. Jack knew what to do and put those hands on the wheel - he was ready to move! After all this fun...we had one tired baby!

We all had such a great day! We love taking Jack to experience and learn new things, its so rewarding! Thanks Rodeo Houston for a fun filled day!

In case you are wondering why we had the stroller backwards... we were trying to keep the sun out of his face :) Sweet parents we are :)

Swingin' in the tree

We have the best tree in our front yard and today while Jack was taking his morning nap we put up his very own swing! MiMi gave this to us for Christmas and we were so excited to finally have the spring like weather to take it out. Check out these big smiles!

Ok so maybe this isn't a smile, I'm sure he is telling me, stop taking the pictures and let me swing Mom! ha ha
